I went to sunrise bagels this morning as I have many times over the years to get a few bagels for my kids at home. I started talking with Sam and as usual we asked each other how our families were and I told him my son who is an officer in the army is home from overseas in Egypt for two weeks. We talked about the military and he told me to thank my son for his service. When my order was ready and brought to me, Sam would not let me pay but instead told me once again to thank my son for his service and dedication. He wanted this to be from him to us. Of course I was pretty emotional and really couldn’t speak but I think Sam knows how grateful I am and appreciative we all are here in our house...
