wow what has happened to this place!? for the last few years ive been coming weekly the place was great, The food was like no other all the staff was friendly and polite even in 30 degree heat with huge cues waiting for food. BUT for the last, lets say 3 months its really gone downhill! I had a terrible experience at this restaurant! I pre-ordered my meal four hours in advance to ensure everything would be available, but I was informed that the receipt would arrive only ten minutes before my scheduled time, by which point most items were sold out. I was told I needed to update my order, which I did, only to have it canceled. When I called the restaurant, I was told that my order hadn’t gone through at all! I was furious and ended up having to reorder through the Uber app, picking from whatever was still available. I visited this kitchen on the basis of good reviews, and I can recommend it for myself. The food was fresh and excellently prepared. Both the chicken and the beef were fantastically prepared, falling apart in the mouth. The rice was just the way I personally like it. The interior space was not so welcoming (clean). Also, some of the older photos show seating and there is no seating and only takeaway is working at the moment. Portion sizes are horrendously small!! Prices are so high. You can get 2 person meals from elsewhere. Used to be a good shop. Jerk chicken small size chicken, very dry inside. Not slow cooked like years before. Customer service has gone so down hill. What’s wrong with you guys. Serving with angry faces. Prices and portion sizes are the worst thing about this place. If you're craving truly authentic Jamaican cuisine but don't want to spend hours cooking at home, this is the perfect spot for you! The patties are delicious, the red snapper is delightful, and the oxtail is outstanding. Many dishes tend to sell out quickly since there's always a line, so it's best to call ahead or arrive early!
