The food was incredibly fresh, and our host was very kind. I was surprised to find that we were the only customers in the restaurant, especially given how delicious the food was. We ordered the Thai Papaya Salad, Pumpkin Curry with chicken, Chicken Satay, and Eggplant Stir Fry with vegetables and rice. We definitely ordered more than we could eat! The portion sizes were just right, and the prices were great. I also had a coconut shake, which I finished – the rest will be my lunch for tomorrow. We will definitely return!
I got the pad kee mao and ask for mild spicy. There was no flavor to the food especially spice. It was disappointing. I moved to Sacramento over a year ago and food here is so bland compared to choices in SoCal. I ate at many Thai places and one of the most flavorful meal should be pad kee mao/drunken noodles so when it's bland, there is obviously lack of effort on the cook's end. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're looking to get a quick fix you are hungry.
I purchased the mango sticky rice, and I did not get my ice cream. The rice was old rice or over cooked and given a small amount. Maybe if I was there in person it would have been better, but my order was take out. Also ordered the butter shrimp and that was ok, but I got 2 orders and they combined them, which was not Ok since it was 2 different people getting this. I don't know if I will come back, but good luck
I need to come back here. I ordered food here but got the wrong Thai place on Sunrise. These guys were so nice. I called them to tell them I was at another place and they canceled my order without getting upset. I felt so bad that I ordered from the wrong place and ended up buying from another. Wow!!!! We have a lot of Thai places around us but I haven't found one that I really like. Decided to drive a little farther and try this place out. So glad we did! I love Pad Prik King but their's was a whole new level of flavor! So good! I literally licked my plate. Can't wait to go back!
I have a strong dislike for ethnic restaurants that alter the flavor of their dishes to cater to a non-ethnic crowd. It always turns out the same way: the food becomes overly sweet, uninspired, and lacking in taste.
Horrible Horrible Horrible! Pad Thai not the right noodles and so much liquid like a soup. The pineapple fried rice is the worst, taste like Indian food. Please close this place down!
