Was very disappointed with the service I had to encounter with, this morning when I entered, the server that was serving us was very rude. She didn 't care to put a smile on or have a respectful manner when I was ordering, she put the food on the table with no hesitation to ask if we needed anything else.While my friend ordered her tea she accidentally brought an extra and when she was gonna throw it away, I asked if I could have it instead but what she said was its ok with a disrespectful voice and threw it in the dish bin, when I asked to order a tea right after she brought it but with no tea bag inside, additionally she only brought a cup and hot water as if I could even drink that.I went...
Went with my son and was really looking forward to the Thick-cut, brioche French toas as I had a taste once before and it was delicious. This time, it was incredibly underwhelming. Nearly $11 for three pieces of regular bread, definitely not thick cut and not brioche, dipped in an egg. Over priced for next to nothing. I will say though that the service was good and very efficient it's just a pity that you can't always depend on the quality of the food. Sometimes good, sometimes bleh.
The absolute worst experience ever it was a total cluster$ . Took 20 minutes just for them to bring us coffee. The pancakes were burned on the bottom and all the other breakfast food was tasteless. I will mention every table around us also complained about their food. I felt sorry for the servers as it was not their fault. I am not a big complainer however you should avoid this restaurant if you can call it that) like the plague!!
The food is always exceptional! The servers are amazing, the chefs are consistent and the service is very quick even when it’s super busy. Best breakfast in Leaside at its price point. Also great location, located in a smart centre plaza with a sports check, home depot, lcbo and Best Buy. It’s great place to eat before shopping: My favourites are the pancakes, omelette, avocado toast, and french toasts.

We got the basic three egg breakfast, california benedict, and sunset waffle (to share). The portions are huge, and everything is fresh and made to order. The staff is also really friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!
The service no matter how busy is always attentive. Coffee is served quickly. And refills just keep coming. The food is fresh and served within minutes of the chef preparing the meals. Staff are very friendly.
Staff are so amazing!!! Many have been there over 10 years and recognize us every time. Food can't be beat for freshness &taste. Tables close together but everyone friendly and feels like a community place.
We were looking for a place that is open before 7:30 and found sunset grill on the map.We were greeted by a very nice lady when arrived. Food is alright and fast.
