The restaurant needs to hire more staff, as the current employees are unable to manage the long lines during the morning rush. Customers are left waiting too long to place their orders and to pick them up. I ordered for my son's party two weeks ago and spent a considerable amount of money, but they did not meet my expectations. They were out of a product I wanted to pay for, and when I went into the bakery to address the issue, they didn’t even refund me for the item I didn’t receive—there wasn’t even an apology. It’s disappointing that this place lacks proper service.
Wow! The Pan con tortilla was absolutely delicious. I wasn't really a fan of the croquetas, but considering the price, they were still worth trying. The pastelitos were incredible. One of the things I really appreciate about this place is that they still offer great prices. If prices start to increase and quality decreases—like another bakery I know, that starts with a C—I’ll definitely stop going there too. Keep up the great work! Thank you! I genuinely enjoyed my breakfast this morning.
I order from here very often. I've had their pan con tortilla it's the best I've ever had! The croquettes here are always fresh and delicious. They are the real ones not the pink pasty on the inside ones (yuck). Today I got the Pan con Bistec. So delicious the meat was thin and well seasoned and the bread soft and fresh. And the flan cheesecake wow!! Superb! Definitely recommend this place.
Having grown up in Miami, I’ve always found it hard to adjust to life in Broward. However, Sunshine Bakery makes me feel right at home. It's the only Cuban bakery I've come across in the Fort Lauderdale area that truly gets it right. If your in a rush to go here I wouldn't go, the cafe con leche, pastries, and bread and butter is so good that they make everything fresh, it's always hot, it's only so many workers, but I've been coming here for 5 years and I love the service the cafe con leche is delicious, everything is great!
I absolutely love this place! After enjoying a lovely lunch, I couldn't resist ordering another dozen pastelitos. The thank-you stickers and the way they delivered the food were such kind and thoughtful touches! It truly made me smile!
