This place deserves to stay open! They serve some of the best food in Compton. Mama is truly an angel; her food is absolutely amazing! Everything is delicious—the soup, kimchi, BBQ ribs, rice—it's all fantastic. I have a special memory from two years ago when my husband and I were completely exhausted. Our son, who was just a year and a half old, was battling measles and respiratory infections. I've been coming to mama for the past 4 years. Her food is made with love and are very filling. I come here almost once a week and I've had about everything on the menu and I must say she never fails to please me with the amount she gives to how she makes you feel once you step in her restaurant. It'll be a very sad day once she closes her doors. Everyone better come try her food before she cannot anymore
Simply speaking, this food is classic Korean cooked fresh with quality ingredients. Cook/owner prepares balanced meals with pride and passion with an elevated flavor profile. The beef short ribs are generous and incredibly tender. The banchan kimchee and other sides are made in house. I am looking forward to returning soon. No frills, as it 's all about the food!!

Doesn't look like much when you past by but this little hole in the wall. Has some of the best food I've ever had for long time. The chicken was carried to perfection. The side where really delicious especially kimchee and house hot sauce. It's made with a lot of love by the sweetest women. I'll definitely be back for another menu to try out.
Fried rice is fire been here a few times true mom pop shop korean owned I believe little old lady super nice like if your own mom was cooking for you everything fresh I go eat every where I'm fatboy but this definitely one my fav fried rice spots also good korean bbq short ribs a must try spot
Does anyone know what happened to Sunny??? My family has been going to this restaurant for years, and this woman and her establishment were truly special to Compton. I really hope she is thriving somewhere else.
The food is fantastic and always accompanied by a warm smile. Sunny truly makes you feel as though you're just dropping by her kitchen to enjoy a home-cooked meal straight from her oven.

This lady that works here is awesome. She seemed to really appreciate the business, the food was good, she gave me a bunch of free stuff, and the food was excellent.
Great food. As soon as you walked in you are greet with a big welcome and a friendly smile. The service is very personal. I would recommend this for a quick meal
