After watching my nephew march in a parade with the Lakeland fire department, we stumbled upon a restaurant called Sup Sup Sup on our way home. Located in a strip shopping center next to a bank in Stony Brook, this little Vietnamese eatery caught our attention. Kenny ordered the Vietnamese wings with the sauce on the side and enjoyed the crispy tip they left on them, a unique touch not found in other wing places we've been to. My wife, daughter, and I all opted for different types of pho. My daughter had the pho tai, featuring thinly sliced steak that she found delicious. My wife ordered the pho ga, which came with a side of juicy chicken breast in a tasty sauce. I couldn't resist the Pho Ki...
I have visited this restaurant twice and it is definitely worth the travel time. I am torn between their two locations (Massapequa location and this one) and I enjoy the staff here. The pho is one of the best on the island and the fruit teas are fantastic! The coconut pudding is also very tasty. The 35-40 minute drive is worth it. It also reminds me of my time at Stony Brook University almost 25 years ago. The lychee juice is also delicious. I definitely want to try the ribeye, pork chop, and more pho on my next visit.
As soon as we walked in we where greeted and seated, the customer service was impeccable. The food was great ? my daughter who is a very picky eater enjoyed everything! I highly recommend the coconut pudding. Also if you get the coconut juice which comes in a coconut, they will open the coconut for you if you ask and you can enjoy the whole thing. I wish i could give them 10 stars highly recommend!
The restaurant is stunning with its modern and well-lit atmosphere. The staff was friendly and efficient. I ordered the pho tai and was impressed by the excellent texture of the noodles and the rich, clean, and tasty broth. The prices were appropriate and I will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Any questions?
