Me and my mum have been visiting Sur La Route ever since we moved to Huelgoat, 5 years ago. The owner is a lovely man and always very welcoming and friendly to us. The selection of books is excellent and prices are very fair. We always have great drinks and food here. It's fantastic to see such an array of homemade cakes and savouries as well as local produce and bio products offered. I would highly recommend calling in, whenever you are in Huelgoat. Thank you
A cosy bookshop filled with a great choice of books in French and English, both new and second hand. Amazing choice of postards and small size art by local artists on sale. Tea, coffee and home baked sweets to enjoy in a friendly atmosphere. The owner speaks perfect English too. The café-librairie is named after the famous novel by Jack Kerouac whose ancestors originate from this small town.
Great stopover for choosing second-hand English books and new or used French novels. Simple and fresh cuisine, spiced just right, a very warm welcome even for our group of 13. Book for a group of course. I will definitely come back on the road
Very nice bookstore café. Nice concept where you feel good. Beautiful warm atmosphere, impeccable and pleasant service. Very good hot drinks and cheesecake too. We'll come back when we're in the area.
Calm and friendly atmosphere. Numerous works and a very diverse map. The hot drinks lacked a little taste, but the owner is careful about the dosages to satisfy his customers so don't hesitate to ask!
Just my favourite eating place... Fabulous ambience...Johann a marvellous cook ...also a very good choice of coffee's and teas ... today's lunch was excellent and service also excellent..
