Went into the restaurant earlier that day to speak to someone to book a table, person i spoke with was lovely and accomodating. Said we were able to have a table near a TV due to wanting to watch the NRL. When we came back to the venue that night we were the only booking placed outside and not near a TV. Lady who was directing us was not helpful at all but rather had an attitude of not her problem. If this request wasn’t able to be met, we would’ve booked else where. The first canadian club tower we ordered was filled with ice and hardly any drink as well as a metal cooling device inside the drink. I had to take it back to the counter to ask why it was filled with so much ice?
Upon entering the restaurant, a few staff members saw me wondering around but did not approach. We were seated at a dirty table but had our reservation written on a piece of paper there. We moved inside as it was cold and heater was not turned on after asking and waiting 5 mins. The unisex toilet stank of urine. Needs a deep clean.. The entree came out with the mains after a long wait. Other than that, the staff were super friendly and I loved the set up of games. Food was disappointing. Was hoping for a nicer and bigger collection of tap beers for a beergarden.
While it may not be considered fine dining, this restaurant offers good family-friendly food. I was slightly apprehensive when I realized it was a pub, but the children enjoyed it. The atmosphere was loud and lively, with a lot of fun activities for the kids like playing jingo at the table. The QR code ordering system was convenient, and the staff was friendly. I would definitely return to this restaurant.
Ok I can understand that this venue has multiple screens showing every sport however when you specifically state you are featuring one of the WC semi finals between Sweden and Spain and you have an audience for it at least have the courtesy and WHEREWITHAL of turning the volume of the broadcast up to drown out the bogan music and cage fighting. The staff was wonderful, the food arrived promptly and tasted fantastic, the atmosphere was excellent, and everyone was enjoying themselves. We will definitely be returning next time we visit the coast.
We enjoy going here when we come on holidays. This kids have fun with the giant jenga and connect 4, service was friendly and helpful but this time I found 2 dishes were a little lacklustre in flavour.
Unfortunately we didn’t have the best experience, the one bar staff that served us got our order wrong and over charged us, then got the meal and it was wrong.
