Before dining at this restaurant, I found it odd that they required payment upfront. It was also strange to be prompted to tip without having experienced the service yet. The sushi was below average and the restroom doors were dirty and stained. Unfortunately, I became ill shortly after eating here. Overall, the dining experience was disappointing. The price range per person for dining in was around CA$50-60.
A bit confusing. They expect you to know, that when you come, you don't sit but order, as they don't explain nothing. We seated ourselves for a good 5-8 mins, not knowing that nobody would approach us with a menu. They don't really offer water, unless asked. And even so, they don't refill the glass. Unagi donburi needed more sauce, udon needed more flavor. Sushi were great tho!
I absolutely love the unique sushi rolls at this restaurant. The staff is extremely polite and respectful, and they enjoy having a good laugh. The establishment is very clean. The food here is fantastic! The FSJ roll is a must-try. This is our preferred sushi spot in FSJ. The service is quick, but keep in mind that you order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Overall, dining in was a great experience for dinner. Prices range from CA$20 to CA$30 per person.
Very poor quality, we ordered a miso soup (which tasted like dish wash water) and a beef teriyaki, which was so SALTY that I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything that salty in my life! Avoid this place by all means! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$20–30
This restaurant is fantastic, with a welcoming staff. The sushi here is truly outstanding and is probably the best in town. Even if you are unsure about trying sushi in Fort St. John, this place will not let you down. It is even better than some sushi places in the south.
The nigiris were pretty good, not bad at all. However, the BC roll was not what I was expecting. The fish inside should have been salmon, but it tasted more like Korean canned tuna. It was a bit disappointing. The staff, on the other hand, were kind and attentive.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic! The FSJ roll is especially delicious. It's our top choice for sushi in FSJ. The service is fast, but just remember to order at the counter and they will bring the food to your table.
Staff is Always friendly, food is always fresh, can't get any better this far from the water!
