Dropped into the empty restaurant for a table for 2, was told they had a table that they'd have to have back in 1 hour. Got given menus and a few minutes later asked for our drinks order, they only had a white wine that was available by the bottle and we were discouraged from ordering that because we had such little time to drink it. Food was good, but the waitress came over to clear plates while we were still eating. We were out in 45 minutes, having paid a £50 bill. We left a mostly empty restaurant and will not bother them again.
I'd never had great experiences with sushi over the years, so it wasn't something I'd gravitate towards. However, I attended a party where there were platters from Sushi Life and every mouthful was delicious! We were at a loss for something to eat tonight and Sushi Life came to mind! A great find we were looking for Japanese in Cardiff for a 20th birthday and couldn't have been happier. Excellent food, freshly cooked, and very friendly atmosphere good value too. We walked in with no reservations but staff was still very accommodating and thoroughly checked that he can accommodate us. Food was great as always.
