We absolutely adore this hidden gem! The restaurant is lovely, with a bustling atmosphere and attentive service. The menu is full of fantastic options and there are some great special dinner offers available. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious! While it may not be considered a gourmet dining experience, it is the perfect spot for a family dinner or a romantic evening. The prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food, so we will definitely be returning and recommending it to others! In our household we consider Sushi Republic our second kitchen. We have been going to see Rose and the other amazing staff for close to 20 years. All the locals either grab a quick bite or do take out....which appears to be a lot of their business. Best salmon skin hand rolls around. Bottom line.....FOOD and staff are very good. The food was great the fish was fresh the service was Okay. Not horrible but not great the server seemed to have the whole space and looked a little busy. The atmosphere is not great it’s an old place looks a little rundown the AC vents are dirty but overall it’s a classic spot for locals. I’ve been coming to sushi Republic ever since I was a kid. The food is always amazing. I love the sashimi. Fish is always fresh and delicious. Love the ginger salad dressing. Dragon roll was yummy too. I’d give 3 thumbs up if I could. I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant for lunch. The price per person ranged from $50 to $100, which I found to be reasonable for the quality of food and service. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.
