Sushi shop is my old haunt. They upset me once with half of the salmon missing in a salmon roll. However, they got back on track the next time I ordered form them. This Sunday, when we were in Cannes, we looked for a place for lunch. We didn't want those daylight robbery restaurants facing the seafront, so we explored the back streets and residential area. Finally we settled down for sushi shop which differentiated from the usual takeaway set up in Marseille. This one was actually a restaurant. We ordered a meal including dragon style sushi of tuna, salmon and chips,eel sushi, salmon cheese rolls, miso soup and rice with vinegar. The quality of the food was better than the ones in our city....
I have been to the actual SushiShop once or twice, but during the last 2 years we must have spent over 1,500.00€ on takeaway from here. Food has always been great, especially the signature rolls, but I just wanted to share my frustration about missing wasabi, soya sauce, chopsticks or ginger. Last 3 orders I placed with Sushi Shop were delivered with something missing which ruins the experience if you do not keep any spares at home. Also they no longer deliver within timescales they say they would - it is always late and last time we were waiting for over an hour... This was never the case when SushiShop first opened hence our loyalty to the place, but think we might need to check out what e...
We were just 2 people. We placed the order, we waited for one hour then the waiter came and said salmon was over. We ordered something else and it took another half an hour to receive some food and 10 minutes more for the soy sauce.We founded included in the bill all the salmon dishes we never received and they didn't even try to apologize with a discount. It was really the worst service ever.
J adore Sushi shop. Je commandais souvent lorsque j habitais a Nice. Le rapport qualité prix est super et le service rapide. A conseiller pour les aficionados des sushis. Maintenant, regardez ma gueule. On va me foutre la paix avec l être suprême que j ai ete il y a fort longtemps mais un emploi qui ne m intéresse pas. A bon entendeur salut. Eve Rugieri

I tried it out of convenience as I was staying at the hotel across so it was convenient. Great menu choices, great sushi in a stylish, casual place with seating inside and outside. Had a nice roll and tuna Tataki. Both were great! Recommended for lunch or dinner on the rather casual side.
Too bad i see bad reviews about this place in Cannes, i guess we where lucky. We had a really nice spicy soup and maki, really tasty, the true is that is a bit expensive, but, don't forget its situated in Cannes! The service was a little bit slow, but other than that, we had a nice time
Great maki!!!! Good prices and if you are in Cannes, it's really a great healthy choice. I paid for 4 large inside out rolls and a lovely miso soup 20 euros. For me, coming once a year to Cannes for work, this sushi place is a treat.
New flavour mixes with the Pokes we had: Detox with tuna, salad and rice and Salmon with Teriyaki sauce and cabbage and rice! Fantastic combinations and to top it all off, the terrace was in the sun!

€64 for small strips of Sashimi(Half the size of advertised portion) and cold soup. Don't bother . Plastic everywhere, plates, bowls, soy sauce holder. Not tres chic for the price or location.
