Well to honest it the best sushi in Sydney. I've been coming here for years and years and Taka never misses a beat. My partner and I usually go our 'set menu', which is just our usual order, but lately Taka has been blowing our minds with his creative master piece platters of sushi, sashimi and assorted cooked and raw seafood. We love the ever changing selection of whatever Taka finds at the fish markets that day, especially fresh sardines, scallops and salmon belly. If you like your sake get the tasting of three sake's of the month, and then you can buy a big bottle at a discounted price. Super friendly service too.
Sushi Studio is the real deal - one of my favourite pitstops for genuine Japanese cuisine outside of Japan. I can't think of another place in Australia where you could get half a grilled tuna head - just like you'd get in Tokyo (we pre-ordered after a heads-up on Facebook).We finished, as we always do at Sushi Studio, with a la carte sushi - particularly anago (sea eel) and uni gunkan (sea urchin) if available.We try to stop by whenever we visit Sydney. I'd like to think we're regulars here, even if we don't live in Sydney...大将, 御馳走様でした!
This is a very good Japanese sushi restaurant. Very fresh sushi and sashimi and other quality Japanese dishes and Sake. I could tell these were made by experienced Japanese chefs and we enjoyed a lot. Although it was not a romantic or upmarket atmosphere, it was still comfortable and spacious, and the service was also great with very polite Japanese staff.
Popped in for a quick Japanese meal with the kids. Having been here before I new the food would be good and quick. Very disappointed when the (trainee) waitress forgot to place the order and we had to wait for 40 mins to eat after repeatedly asking where our order was. Really dropped the ball this time around.

Japanese food is our favorite food and always looking for "Good authentic" sushi. Sushi Studio is one of very rare restaurants has spirit of well trained sushi chef. The chef/owner, Taka choose fresh fish at Sydney Fish Market everyday. He creates delicious
Great service, awesome staff that could not do enough to help my 21 month old and great food at a good price. Recently moved to the area and will be back soon.
I have been here twice; one with my friend for his bday and the second with my wife... their sashimi is excellent and i love there Sake selection. Must try.
Best to order from the sushi bar, some of the best sushi and sashimi in Sydney. ramen from the back kitchen are also - perfectly done.
