Was on my way back from Quebec City to Montreal and, since a friend studies at Trois-Rivières, she knew the corner, and picked this place for us and after looking a few reviews on TripAdvisor. It is an A la Carte menu with few choices. I took their special 15 pieces sushi, expecting it is as good as described on Internet. The service was average at best, the waitress made us do all the table moving by ourselves. While we were waiting for the food, we saw the staff take out the sushi rolls from the fridge and cut them for us. To no surprise, premade sushi in a fridge is simply terrible, with little to no taste, I expected so much from an A la Carte restaurant after eating quite a few in Montr...
The place decoration was nice, but the food was terrible. We waited for an hour before our food came. The sushi were not freshly made on order. They were already maded and wrapped in the fridge. So I really don't get why it took them an hour to serve them. Now to the worst part. They tried to be original, but they made the worst mixes ever! Don't even know how to describe the taste....Also, for the pizxa sushi, they put cream cheese on it with honey, which gives a very weird taste. Beside, the rice was too cooked,steaky and crushed. Plus the quantity of seafood in the sushi was almost non existing.Paying 20$ for this was really not worth it. I would rather go to buy at a Sushi Shop than eat...
Perfect for a quick stop! We laughed at the name... We were just passing through... But then it all made sense :) Although we'd come to sit down after a long car ride, as we stood in line, we finally figured out everyone else had called ahead for take-out. And what a production line ! It was fast and slick. Once we were seated- very friendly server suggested their special, which we took. Only one to share. 15 pieces, regular $22 for $15. Just what we needed. It came fast. 3 different kinds-5 each. And yummy!!! I would go back in a heartbeat. No wonder there was a steady stream of people for take- out. Perfect for after work. Loved the packaging too :) Definitely a winner!!
the service is very slow, the sushiman are far from being japaneese and are veryslow in the preparation. The waitress was very nice though and she was trying to serve the whole restaurant by her-self. If you are used to real japaneese sushi don't expect the same at this restaurant they use strange spices for sushi and they put a lot of cream cheese. there was only 1 roll that my wife and I enjoyed and really tasted suchi! the price was still alright it costed a little under 80$ for 2 adults. J'ai Nachfrager 100 morceaux en me fesant dire qu'ils y avaient un choix du chef quand au final, ça nous as coûter 218$ .Nous avons réussit à manger une dizaine de sushi à trois tellement ils n'étaient pas bon . Riz trop cuit, poisson pas frais du tout , la sauce goûtait étrangement et rien n'avaient l'air bon ! Très grobe Empfängnis. nous qui voulaient essayer une nouvelle place , nous avons bereuter !
Not only the sushi was very ordinary but the prices....outrageous!!!!The waitress/hostess was also a young brat that thinks she knows it all and she may even never got out of the province...you see the type?So if you are looking into a sushi dinner or lunch avoid all together the Sushi Taxi chain, I also try the one in Laval and same, very expensive sushi for the quality
I ordered from sushi taxi while in Qc city because it was raining so hard. They told me it was a 30 to 45 minutes wait I did not mind. I ordered their tête-à-tête for 2 because i taught for 1 would not be enough.Was I wrong. I could not even finish half of it.they were fresh tasty and absolutely delicious.do not hesitate, order from them if you do not or could not go out
This was by far one of the perks of being in Trois Rivieres.the sushi is out of this world delicious. Great service, and they didnt rush us at all and we were the last ones there on a rainy night! They had these rolls with scallops or clams..not sure ..but it was the most amazing tasting thing ever. Ate here about 4/5 times in one month :). definitely recommend. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Food is generally very good, but the quality vary according to the cook. Last time I ordered, my food was probably prepared well in advance and the rice was dry and it was sitting in the fridge. So it wasn’t fresh.
