Excellent food and services! I made a quick stop to pick up some food before taking a ferry back to the U.S. We ordered a teriyaki chicken and tuna sushi bowl. The food was ready within 10 minutes and both dishes were very fresh and tasty. The tuna bowl with the spicy sauce (called Gochujang if you are familiar with Korean food) was filled with flavor. The owner provided more than excellent service she brought us some cold water while we were waiting for the food to go and perfectly packed the dishes at our convenience. Her hospitality was one of highlights of our trip in Victoria. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants fresh and healthy meals.
The food at this restaurant is excellent and the customer service is top-notch. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive, giving each customer personalized attention. I ordered the grilled chicken roll and it was incredibly fresh and delicious. The quality of ingredients used here is evident, and their expertise in making traditional Japanese sushi is impressive. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful establishment.
Do not let the fact that this sushi restaurant is located in an office building lobby deter you - it is a hidden gem. The Chef Don's Special, which included fresh salmon and tuna, avocado, sunflower sprouts, greens, and a delicious homemade dressing, was a highlight. The miso soup was also exceptional, with a rich flavor and finely diced scallions that added a burst of flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant.
All of our food was delicious but the beef udon soup was our favorite!! The food came quickly. The small restaurant area is decorated in a lovely way (creative and cute). The music playing was classical music and was a good volume and relaxing. The owner was kind and friendly and very personable (knew customers by name). Would definitely recommend and will be back! Wonderful owners, clean and beautiful atmosphere. You don't even sense the atrium behind you. The sushi is priced well and fresh and crafted expertly. I love the seasonal decor changes and Margaret and Don are always adding new and creative healthy items. Love this place to no end.
I read the Google reviews, and I found this little place I recommend the food is fresh and tasty! The personal is so friendly they give me one small soup to try and was so reconfortant, definitely im going to back. I ordered the spicy tuna roll
The counter service at this restaurant is excellent with a wide variety of options to choose from! I ordered avocado rolls, a Philly roll, and a Teriyaki Noodle Box with Veggies and Tofu. This restaurant has been in business for 9 years!
