I absolutely adore Sushi Ushi in Valrico, Florida! It is hands down the best restaurant in town for sushi. I have tried many sushi places in the area, but Sushi Ushi stands out for their amazing, fresh, and high quality sushi. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, especially when it comes to my food allergies (gluten and garlic). They even offer gluten free soy sauce! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious takeout meal. Although I have never dined in, the cozy atmosphere inside looks perfect for a meal with a friend.
My family and I had a fantastic experience at this sushi restaurant. Following a warm reception, we ordered a variety of rolls, including the sweet potato rolls, rainbow roll, spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, Alaskan roll, salmon avocado roll, and the classic California roll Each sushi roll was delicious and fresh. We also tried a carbonated ramune drink which was fun to try to get the marble out. We visited on a Saturday and thought the affordable lunch pricing was a great value for the quality of food. We'll definitely be returning soon!
During our meal at the restaurant, my family and I had a disappointing experience when my sister found a large bone in her sushi. She nearly choked on it, so we alerted the manager. Unfortunately, the manager was rude and did not apologize or check if my sister was okay. Despite the incident, we were still required to pay the full bill. The food was fresh and tasty. Portions left me wondering why the sushi rolls were thin and the avocado salad limited in lettuce. Just an opinion, but with rice and iceberg lettuce being on the lower end of the price spectrum, adding a bit more to the dishes would have made them more appealing and appropriate. The first time I stopped in and let me say I was thoroughly impressed. A nice variety of food on the menu from rolls, to soups and various desserts and drinks. The sushi was fresh and tasted delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this spot for some good sushi, and let me say don't sleep on the sushi pizza, it was delicious! Service: Dine in
The best sushi in the Brandon area, no question about it... actually, scratch that, it's simply the best. The staff is always friendly, and Sofia always ensures everything is perfect. My wife and I enjoy bringing our kids here for a relaxing sushi night or lunch. The lunch specials are fantastic. Do not hesitate, go there now. You will not be disappointed.
This restaurant is perfect for a lunch date. It may be small, but the service is top-notch and the food is excellent. The average price per person ranges from $10 to $20. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a 5-star rating. I highly recommend trying the Hawaiian Roll dish.
