Really solid, low-key spot for quality sushi. Been here a few times and had to confirm this spot is consistently amazing. Their specials menu has awesome stuff too. We ordered the happy crab (fried crab bites stuffed with cream cheese) and pork belly kimchi bao for apps. Both were well exectuted. Hamachi sashimi and Bluefin Toro Nigiri were perfect. I've had the Uni here before but I don't recall if I've ever asked where it is sourced. The Soba noodles always have a generous portion of chicken. I've yet to try the ramen, but given the quality of execution here I can expect it to be quite good and authentic.
This is about our 4th visit to Sushi Ushi and every time we are very impressed. The quality, the staff and freshness of the fish are phenomenal. Belle was our sever today and recommended a few dishes off the special menu as well as some classics. You never feel rushed to order or eat and dash no matter how busy they are. I give the atmosphere only 4 stars simply because it is while clean and simple, it is a small dining space and a little cramped. Hope in time they can expand. But either way, we will be back as often as possible to enjoy this hidden gem of a place.
This is my favorite sushi place!!! I’ve been ordering takeout from here for years. You get a great bang for your buck considering the quality. Everything I’ve ever had has been on point. Also, the chefs are artists! Presentation is always perfect with the maki rolls and the quality and taste are always the same; I’ve never ordered one of my favorite rolls and found it tasted different. Highly recommend.
Always pleased with the service here! The staff is super friendly and the sushi is great, especially for the price. I can mostly only eat cooked sushi, and there are a lot of options for me. They can even torch the raw fish if you'd like. I usually get the lunch special which comes with 2 rolls and a miso soup or salad. For dinner, the Volcano Roll or Monster Roll is good too!

This was my first time trying sushi from this restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the Rainbow Roll, yellowtail, and salmon sashimi, all of which were incredibly fresh and delicious. This place has definitely earned a spot among my favorite sushi restaurants in the Brandon/Valrico area. I will certainly be dining here again.
Delicious sushi. Small dining area but you can take it to-go. They dont have a fountain drink machine so warning if you order a soda you just get a flat bottle of soda to pour i to a glass and water down more. Better to buy take out and avoid wasting money on the drink and a tip.
What a delightful discovery! The staff was very polite and helpful. Service was quick. But the star of the show was the freshness and flavor of the food. The best Bento boxes I've had in a long time. I look forward to my next visit.
Always a delight to go there. We usually have the Tuna Taco and their Kama. Service is awesome, food is always so good. My wife and I always enjoy all of their food and highly recommend eating here. Prices are great too!!!!!
