Best thing here is the fish katsu, a little pricey but the portions are huge. Although it was great, it comes with a choice of soup or salad, I opted for salad which was a really sad sad choice. It was literally pieces of lettuce. Torn lettuce thrown in a small container. This place deserves more shine. Sushi is cheap, large, and higher quality than most places nearby. There's a consistent groupon that slaps. Spicy tuna handroll in particular is very high quality of taste (though it could be spicier). Eel, Salmon skin, salmon, banana tempura, and lsu roll are all probably worth your time. The spot is a bit dark, laid back, and lowkey. Most time, you'll be one of a few people there. It's kinda cute inside. Music is correct.
I would suggest ordering out from Sushi Village. My son and I went to eat last week and there was only 2 employees and 1 sushi chef. They were extremely backed up on to go orders therefore, it took a very long time for our food. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Great sushi!
Not the best — super awkward with no music and all the wait staff sitting a couple of tables down. I was brought the wrong thing 2 or 3 times. The crunch roll was gross…I had no idea you could mess up a crunch roll…

Great place for take out budget sushi! Staff is friendly and family-run! I know it sounds out of the norm, but definitely order a chicken teriyaki roll, you won't regret it.
I'm not adventurous with my choices and usually stick to shrimp fried rice anywhere I go. This place has the best I've every tasted. I also tried the OMG Roll and OMG.
Sushi was solid, every roll we got was well priced and well made. Will definitely be a repeat customer. (Update: a year later this place is still delicious)
Always a quiet place for good sushi and hibachi. Friendly staff, fair prices. This is one of my go to spots for lunch or dinner!
