A jewel of Japanese food in the locality. I went for dinner, I had previously tried other sushi restaurants nearby so I was not expecting something far from them but it is. The freshness and preparation of their food stands out. The toro sashimi is absolutely delicious and also the tuna sashimi, thick slices as expected. The wakame salad is fresh and tasty. Their nigiris and nori makos are small but don’t get it wrong, they worth it because is more fish than rice which speaks about the honesty of this restaurant, they don’t use rice as a filler. Standard sushi restaurant. Nothing too fancy. We went to have dinner with the whole family and we requested the Japanese-style rooms in the lower floor. Beer was very cold and the sushi was good. Decoration was neat but due for a renovation. Service was good but the girl had difficulty understanding some of the orders. Probably would not return, I'd rather take the risk somewhere else.
Amiable staff, excellent food preparation, more than an acceptable cost. Small venue. In my view better than many other sushi restaurants, and best in the area.
