Located at a prime position of Capalaba Central, I meant to explore it for the wraps and skewers a long time ago. Grab the EKKA public holiday and made the trip to try at 9:00am. Unfortunately, they only served the set brekkie menu so ordered the flat white and a Smoked Salmon with Avocado. Well, I knew that they served Merlo from the signage at the front, however, the flat white was slightly weak for me. Salad came in a very big portion and the chef/owner told me that it was only the salad made the spectacular feeling. Well, the portion was just too big for me so I could not finish it and left over the sourdough. I really felt shame of my little stomach....
We had a wonderful meal and a very enjoyable experience on Friday night! The food was wonderful and the staff so helpful and friendly especially our little waitress! She is awesome and I am so sorry that I have forgotten her name : With my Husband being Greek, he is always looking for a place to eat as I can't cook like his Mum, and now we have found that place! It is a great indicator of great greek food when my Mum and I were the only non-Greeks in the place! We will see you again very soon! :
Have been coming here for a while now for the amazing coffee and the awesome friendly service. Had lunch with my daughter today, ordering a platter for 1 and the food was so good! Lamb tender and just perfectly cooked, salad fresh and crisp and tasty, sauce had the perfect amount of zing, and proportion was just the right amount .... honestly can not fault a thing... we are forever clients now (already we’re anyway lol, this just cemented it for us)
My partner loves the coconut cookies here and we both love the soy chai latte here. The staff are very friendly.<br/ <br/ At the beginning of last year we had a family outing here where we tried the sandwiches and burgers in a meal. It all tastes alright. This is a seat yourself place where you order at the side counter. I used to come here before they introduced all the breakfast menu and burger items. For me this place will always be about the grills. I ordered the grilled lunch special. As it has evolved it has lost the home style feel it used to have but was still enjoyable.
The coffee is amazing (it has to be as it is Merlo) the food delicious. The service was lovely....staff were very friendly and prompt with our order. A great experience.
Definitely the best coffee in Capalaba. Lovely staff (thank you Penny my namesake) Can't moment on their meals yet: if as good as their coffee, will be great!
