Amazing food and excellent service! We were in mood for veg and ordered a bunch of items here but hear that the non veg is equally good too. Please hit the place on Tuesday as the main chef himself cooks that day. Daal Bukhara is a treat, for someone like to me who isn’t fond of daal to order this item again, it really crosses all bar. Ordered it another day and it tasted the same, yummy! Gobi starter is a hit here! Please order that specially if you are vegetarian. Dum aloo was equally creamy and delicious as well. Spice level is good here, specially in check with desi folks. Chole bature was ordered again too since the Batura was top notch! Zero oil dripping and no residue of it whatsoever...
The staff at the restaurant was fantastic! I took my residents from the assisted living facility there for a lunch outing, and they treated us with kindness while the food was delicious. However, since we were only a party of six, I didn't expect gratuity to be automatically added to our bills. Now that I'm reviewing the receipts, I noticed that an 18% tip was included on each bill (we had split checks), which means we ended up paying an additional 20% on top of the 18%. This is quite disappointing, especially since we weren't a large group. I'm upset that I missed this detail and even more frustrated that it was added without any prior notice. Swagat is our top choice in the Triangle area for satisfying our Indian food cravings! The food is outstanding and always reminds us of home in Delhi. We visit this restaurant often and have sampled a wide range of dishes, all of which have consistently been excellent. I've also used their catering services, and the quality of the catered food was just as impressive. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. I wholeheartedly recommend dining here!
I recently had the most amazing tandoori grill food here. The prawn was impeccably grilled, with perfectly balanced spices that made it juicy and delicious. The chicken was grilled to perfection as well, and I can confidently say that the food at this place is absolutely incredible. The service was outstanding too. You must give this place a try, or else you'll be missing out on something truly exceptional.??
Today I visited Swagat for dinner. Food was awesome. I really liked the customer service. The restaurant was very well maintained and clean. They made sure even the water is refilled. Food was served very quickly, both veg and non-veg was delicious. My son liked Samosa chats a lot. I will definitely visit again.Food: 5/5
Swagat is my favorite Indian food restaurant in the Raleigh area and I have tried several places. I drive 30 mins to eat here (without traffic .I recommend Lamb Vindaloo and Shrimp Tikka Masala. Always get 2 orders of the garlic naan ; You won’t regret it!

Quite good food. garlic naan was execellent and you can never go wrong with mixed grill. Only downside was there was some kitchen cleaning when we went and the sound and smell was unappetizing
As for wheelchair accessibility, it was easy to get in as long as you can manage to open the door. The staff is more than happy to assist by opening it for you.
