Swagat Indian Cuisne

Very quiet only 2 other tables being served, I assume Covid shy still as the food is some of the best Indian I have had in the triangle. The starters came quickly, for our party of four we had a double order of samosa’s , and the cauliflower Manchurian is a home run! We prefer to order several mains and then eat family style Tonight we had chicken tikka masala,lamb vendaloo,daal Bukhara which is awesome! , aloo Goni, and a tandoori shrimp. The shrimp wasn’t my favorite next time I’ll order a shrimp korma. The flavors are all wonderful. This has become our favorite Indian restaurant. Only complaint is tables are small when you eat family style as we do.

Everything is fresh and tasty, and the service is fast and friendly, and the owners are friendly and helpful in terms of spice levels and other questions. The Tandoori chicken is very humid and I love the slice ktikka and it is particularly delicious with many vegetables. The butter chicken is really good with a mild nutty creamy flavor.

The food was okay, standard tariff, nothing special. The service was something of the worst I ever had. Had to ask for water fillings, it took an hour to get any kind of food. We were constantly ignored by the staff. A member even took my menu and gave it to someone before I took my order. I was so disappointed.

The restaurant was short staffed for Valentine’s Day, but they still made us feel like a priority and made sure we had what we needed. The food was fantastic- best Indian food I have had in a long time. The portion sizes were great too.

Very delicious food and we got a free dessert because we were there for birthday dinner.
