Space is great, parking is meh, beer is okay, service leaves a lot to be desired. Decent amount of attitude and bartenders act like it's an inconvenience to pour you a beer or answer questions about their tap list. I've been here three times, and I've noticed that the bartenders are extra-**** to female patrons. The first time I went, one of my friends was early in her pregnancy. The guy serving us muttered under his breath about girls who come to breweries and don't order beer. You're a brewery in TR, get over yourself. Be proud of your beer, welcoming to all, and excited to share your beer with other beer-lovers. Dogs are permitted on front porch but not back porch. Usually get food trucks...
First time here! Great craft beers! And since it was my first thing here....I had to order the wild hare sampler! I ordered the cream ale, white ale, cherry berry and a marzen! The cream ale had a more bitter note to it. White ale was quite refreshing on a warm December day. You can actually taste the cherries in the cherry berry! And you definitely can't go with the German style Octoberfest- marzen! Not a beer drinker but don't want to be left out? Don't worry! They offer ciders and hard seltzers as well. No FOMO allowed! Plenty of room for large parties! Bar seating is available. Outdoor area. Not sure about pets but my kids were allowed to go in LOL Clean bathrooms. Not sure about changin...
A bartender can make or break a place. The woman who was on tonight ruined my first stop in here. Although I heard good things about the beer, her attitude tanked it for me. I had asked to sample 2 beers as I wanted a growler. I had asked how long it would last after it was opened and her answer was about 2 liters. Peculiar answer. Then she hands me this little, tiny jug. I stated it was a very small growler. She then says it is a half growler and tells me that is what I ordered. No. Not only do I get a crazy answer about how long the beer lasts but I would have to question if she has trouble hearing and why pull an attitude when I wanted to spend more money. I walked out and won't rush back...
the swamp rabbit brewery (swb) is my favorite in and around greenville and tr. I like most beer, but my favorite drink money is ipa and swb has a big one. the correct balance, alcohol content and bitterness seem to be through. I found the personal and the customers very friendly. if something could be improved, it would be the atmosphere, as this is said by the moats nested at the bar, and the parking places are very narrow. otherwise, a great place on main in tr.
Sweet spot! A few variety of beers, I want to say maybe 8 on tap. Very cute space, inside and outside seating and though I wasn't there to experience it, but I was told sometimes they BBQ out back or bring in a food truck. I was super impressed with the board game options! I also love the that you can self serve your own water, which is a small thing but one that I appreciate. Super affordable and service was good!
We have been going to SRB for 4 years and have never been disappointed. Whether you are there on a Saturday or Sunday for a relaxed, friendly beer or on Friday night for one of the food truck events their beer will not disappoint. Try the white ale. I am have a hard time branching out because this ale is sooo good. My husband like a richer beer and they have a great selection. It is a must try if you are visiting.
Three of us stopped in for a cold one while walking the Swamp Rabbit Trail. We each chose a different brew and we all enjoyed what we chose. The selection menu offers great descriptions of each beer on tap and you can't beat the freshness. The indoor area was very clean and well lit and the service was fast and pleasant. We will definitely stop in again.
Only service at the front window, and outdoor distanced seating on the rear deck. Radiant heaters work great! Wish they could come up with a rear window. We just stopped for one quick beer. Be glad when this fiasco is over we can sit inside enjoy life again.
Just visiting the area. Enjoyed a nice sampler of some excellent craft beers. Great atmosphere and excellent service!
