Although the food was okay, I will never step foot into this establishment EVER again. Firstly, the waiter was overwhelmingly rude. Upon arriving, the two of us(my daughter and I) sat down at our table and awaited the arrival of the rest of our party( 10 people). Our reservations were for 8:15 and we kindly let our waiter know that the rest of our party would be arriving a tad bit late. I was excited to try this spot as I live near the poncey highland area. We were able to make a quick reservation and got seated fast. Our server was sweet but did not explain the menu and vibe of the restaurant (I note this because there was one server which was serving the table next to us, and he did a great job of explaining the menu and even offering recommendations). Food was great and the asian-bbq fusion is a really intersting combo. I really enjoyed their cocktails, I had the raspberry lemonade which perfectly aligned with my tastes. We had the fried pimento cheese wonton's as an appetizer which weren't my favorite, but my partner loved them. I had the Baby Back Ribs which were delicious along with French Fries and the sesame slaw. I think I would try the pear slaw next time. My maybe controversial opinion is that dessert was my favorite part! We had the cinnamon roll bread pudding as recommended by our server and it was definitely the best dessert I've had in a while.
We enjoyed drinks including sweet tea, an Old Fashioned, and strawberry lemonade (all without refills), which were fantastic. For our meal, we had the folded ribs, brisket, and wonton pimento cheese, all of which were delicious. The mac and cheese, jerk collard greens (vegan), and green beans were also great.
For dessert, we tried the ginger peach cobbler, which was just okay, and the banana pudding and coconut cake, which were both good. Our waitress, Iris, was wonderful throughout our visit. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we will definitely be back!

This place is absurdly good. We ordered the tofu with Wu tang sauce and it had our mouth watering. Their corn bread comes in cute little nuggets so you can pace yourself. And you better pace yourself because the dessert was fire as well. We got the bread pudding and the banana pudding. Our server Joseph was so kind and efficient. The staff were fantastic; as soon as you enter, you can sense the warmth and welcoming atmosphere. The host, Mimi, had such a charming personality that really set the stage for a wonderful experience. The food was outstanding— the shrimp and grits were spot on, and the jalapeño cornbread was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend this place! Food rating: 5/5.
I dined here for the first time and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent—I had the tacos, while my friends enjoyed the brisket plate. We also tried the pimento cheese wontons and brisket egg rolls as appetizers, which were delicious. The staff was wonderful, and parking was a breeze. I will definitely be returning!
Delicious food, very intentional and interesting flavors and menu options. I highly recommend the ribs, and wok green beans. There was positive and friendly service by the waitstaff. I appreciated that they are farm-to-table and zero-waste. Fair pricing.Food: 5/5

The service was perfect. The pimento cheese wontons were to die for! Meet and sauces are excellent. We're from KC, so we are pretty picky about BBQ but we give this place at let's come back five star review.
This was my first visit. The food and drinks were amazing. The flavors were spicy but not overpowering. We will definitely be visiting again!
