Awsome BBQ sauce. This place is very small BUT it is VERY nice inside. Thought I was going to miss the game BUT I was pleasantly surprised when i was greeted with 2 LARGE flat screen TVs with the game on : We had the pulled pork sandwiches which were AWESOME. The person at the counter was VERY fast and helpful I like the place NOW for the down side ... WHICH will keep me away MORE than be a regular Patron EXPENSIVE for what you get. Sweet Baby Ray's Elk Grove. There are two restaurants but I've only been to the one off of Higgins in Elk Grove, and I have to agree with the previous review, the food is amazing. We visit at least once a week if not more. The food is always good. We've never had a problem with the food or the wait staff. The only thing I would add, I would love a sampler platter of just the sides. There are so many interesting sounding dishes (like Tchoupitoulas Potatoes) that I would love to try a taste of all of them in order to truly find my favorites! I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and was thoroughly impressed. The price per person ranged from $30 to $50, but the quality of the food and service was well worth it. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Green Chili Mac, Pulled Chicken Sandwich, Cornbread, Beef, and Sweet Baby dishes. The flavors were all amazing and left me wanting more. In terms of convenience, there was plenty of parking available in a free parking lot. Overall, I had a great dining experience and would definitely return in the future.
Fantastic!. First, I want to thank Elton for helping me put together a menu for my guests. The food was fantastic! The cremed corn was out of this world! Many of my guests thought it was the best side dish they ever had. Of course, the pulled pork and ribs were just mouth watering. Needed a little more sauce, but because SBR is all I buy, we had plenty to keep everyone happy This was something we tried for the first time and can honestly say we will do again Thank you, again, Elton for making my son's birthday a great success!
Best bbq around! We made a special stop here while traveling through. It did not disappoint. Had the best pulled pork sandwiches and ribs! Highly recommend. Our waiter was also very friendly and only enhanced our experience to the next level.
