Service was amazing and food had a great presentation but, taste? The croissant sandwich was pretty good but it was missing a more flavored cheese. Now the chicken and waffles was seriously terrible. Waffles had no taste other than it felt like eating cardboard and the chicken was thin cut and just bland and breaded, just absolutely no spices or flavor whatsoever and you only get cheap syrup for the waffle , not even a good maple syrup to accompany the bland flavor and the plate is $16? Will not spend money for that again not for this plate and just cheap dinner syrup. Yes, it is a nice presentation but if you really want a good tasteful meal, you will not get it here. Local here. Ugh. I loved this place. Now …the tourists can have it. It WAS a great spot. The food was good. The coffee strong. The staff friendly but earthy. Now it feels like it’s catering to a different kind of crowd. I’m unimpressed. Where I got the old school cool vibe has been replaced with the overly done hokey “glam” vibe with an “insta” wall. The service while still friendly took too long for what’s offered. My Cuban “toast” was 3 triangles. The coffee was weak. They will do absolutely fine without my business.
When we first got there at 8:30 it wasn’t crowded and then the crowd started picking up about 10-15 min later. The person at the register was so friendly and same w the barista. They were working hard but kept a positive attitude. My coffee the Naughty Nut was amazing and I got the Hammie Sammie and it was delicious. My friend got the Steak and Egg Panini. Neither of us could finish our sandwiches. FYI you could probably split a sandwich. When I come back to the St Pete area, I will definitely come back.
Me and my son wanted to eat some breakfast while at the beach. But it was lunchtime. We found this jem. The staff was so warm and friendly. The menu is simple but everything is perfectly made to order. It’s not busy a quaint coffee shop with great food and warm staff. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
A lovely local spot with coffee, drinks, and food. There was live music this morning as well. Def worth a visit when coming to Mad Beach. Update: place is still great, the lattes are still tasty. Busy as hell!! But it's the only coffee shop in the area.
Great drinks, great food, great service, great vibes, and amusing signage. What more could you ask for? We enjoyed avocado toast, croissant, fresh squeezed OJ, cappuccino,and a ****** Mary. Everything hit the spot.
