Staff have no idea what they are doing. Offered table service for margaritas then they never materialised. Had to order them times and when they turned up they were in tumblers as they had run out of margarita glasses. Some of our food didnt...turn up at all. Food was average and barely enough menus to go around. I go to the Newtown one all the time and it is excellent. Won't bother coming to this branch again. Disappointing.
Love this place! Hidden in a bit of a passage this is a real pearl of a Mexican restaurant. Try the burritos, they are delicious and great price for money. The tacos are very nice too, but they are more a snack than a whole meal and a bit overpriced (hence 4 stars only). Staff is great and if the weather allows, sit outside there is a lovely courtyard.
the waiting staff is really terrible. they'll clear the tellers before they ask if they're done. do not even ask them to move when they command to give up or refill. they just push their hands right over your face or someone to get things out or on the table. I'm here several times and it's pretty much every time with different employees.
I highly recommend Taco Tuesdays at this restaurant in Coogee. The variety of tacos is great, and they are really delicious. The best part is that they are usually $6, but on Tuesdays they are only $3. The tacos are a good size and made with fresh ingredients. As a Coogee local, this is one of my favorite places to eat. delicious burritos of Mondays mates deal is a great deal. the frozen margarita is also delicious! afteros was not the best I ever had, was a little spicy for me, but I guess they are specialized in burritos
The food tasted good and the portion sizes were decent, but there wasn't enough meat. The proportions were off, with it seeming like 95% rice and beans and only 5% chicken in the dish.
Love the fish and the tofu veg. Burritos. New jackfruit burrito is super tasty too. Lovely and friendly staff. Rad atmosphere. Best place for the friends and family to dine in.
