This place use to be good a few years ago. It has changed a lot, the food is decent but it isn't that great for what you pay. I feel like they over charge you way too much for what you're getting the place on the inside doesn't look well kept. I'd rather support other soul food business's who know what they're doing. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get food here, as there are many other soul food places in the area with better options. Nuvegan, Dodahs kitchen etc.
The Quinoa based sausages, fried chicken, Spinach Lasagna, Vegetable Rolls, Black Eyed Peas and Garlic Kale were AMAZING! Went in before noon, so everything was fresh on the buffet... Customer Service was a One Man show who was patient and very informative. The spot was small, both tables were taken but I could have stayed and tried EVERYTHING... Both Thumbs Up! If you're looking for Very Well-seasoned Plant-based food, This place is a Must.
S&N is always delicious vegan meals. Whenever we visit during midday there is plenty of food. The staff vary behind the counter and at each visit they always, always greet us/customers with a friendly smile, And A Hello. Customer service is not lost here. We appreciate the variety of entrees S&N prepares each week. They serve healthy portions of an entree with two sides at a good price. It is worth the visit.
I give this restaurant three stars for a couple of reasons. One star is for their service - they close randomly, run out of food, serve cold dishes sometimes, and don't consistently wear masks. On the other hand, I give them five stars for their food. It may be a bit salty, but I enjoy it that way. Their mac and cheese is absolutely delicious, and it's the main reason I keep coming back. Sweet and Natural use to be really nice, but seems like things have changed. The food that was left (not much) was really greasy. The portions were really small. Plenty people preparing desserts in the back no mask no gloves. I will think twice before buying their cakes again. I went out my way to get to the restaurant and was disappointed.
The food here is unbeatable. Best vegan food in town. I just wish their operating hours were more consistent. I tried to go there three times in July and August in the afternoon, and all three times they were closed. The spinach lasagna is my favorite here. And the plantain lasagna is really good also. A must visit.
Delicious food EVERYTIME. Super flavorful and filling plant based meals I cannot get enough of. They give adequate portions and a variety of choices to pair together. It's a bakery! Get dessert too! There are plenty of gluten free and nut free options here!
