I recently visited and had the sampler which included pork, ribs, brisket, slaw, greens, and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese and greens were the standout sides – absolutely delicious! The slaw was just average, but the pulled pork was the highlight of the meats, followed by the ribs and brisket. The vinegar sauce paired perfectly with the pork, though it could use a bit more tang. The other two sauces complemented the ribs and brisket nicely. I finished my meal with my favorite dessert, banana pudding, which was good but not exceptional, somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. I went to Sweet Peas in North Knox and had a better experience than at this location. The portions were bigger, they had their full menu available, and they allowed substitutions. Unfortunately, they were out of their chocolate chess pie and wouldn't allow a substitution that the North Knox location typically allows. Additionally, the portion of pulled pork given here did not fully cover the bun like it does at the other location. The kitchen manager seemed unfriendly, but a very nice young lady was apologetic and understood good customer service.
If you want ribs, don't go in the evening as they tend to run out. However, the brisket, pulled pork, and chicken were outstanding. The sampler platter comes highly recommended. The chocolate chess pie and banana pudding were also delicious. We visited at 8:00 pm on a Sunday and easily found parking out front. The restaurant is kid-friendly with booths and an outside area where children can freely roam.
Get the ribs. Very impressive. Love the seasoning they seem to put on everything. The chopped pork was good, the brisket was good but not amazing. The sides were all ok but not impressive in any way. If I go back I'll get a full rack of ribs. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
So far, the best place to eat informal food and beers, the portions and sides are great, the sauces to fullfil the flavor are just in point, relax, welcoming people, good place for after work or before go to partying. Good job guys.
The ribs, pulled pork, and brisket at this restaurant were excellent. The baked beans, especially with smoked brisket in them, were also really great. I highly recommend trying this place!
I really don't want to relive that horrible meal. So I'll keep it short. Brisket was so dry I was putting cut marks in the paper plate with a plastic knife.

Brisket was moist...pinto beans were bland... mac and cheese was ok. Banna pudding was ok...Cherrywine soda was great!
