The service at this restaurant is fantastic and the food is excellent. I have always had a great experience here. The staff is incredibly friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. It is one of my preferred dining spots. As of 5/18/23, it is still a wonderful place to eat! The service was exceptional on my last visit, and the food, especially the ozzy rolls, was delicious. The Happy Trails beer is a fan favorite as well. However, on my most recent visit on 7/13/24, I noticed a change in the service, particularly with the hostesses and seaters. It was eh, for the pricing you'd expect the plates to at least be plated accurately, we got simple burgers husband got the cheeseburger with fries I got the BBQ burger with sweet potato fries. When they were served they swapped the fries on each plate so his fries had BBQ sauce all over them he had to physically swap the food around because when we explained it to the food runner she was confused and didn't comprehend anything. Manager did apologize and comp a dessert which honestly was just ok tasting. Drinks were good. Burgers and fries weren't anything special to write home about. Not only was Johnny very accommodating and helpful, but he was so kind and professional when he stopped by our table. He served us efficiently, made sure our drinks were never empty, and brought amazing hospitality to our stay at Sweetwater Tavern. He made it a point to share the specials with us immediately, and made sure to clear our table when we were finished our food. From start to finish, Johnny made our visit both enjoyable and entertaining. We will come back to have him as our server.

We had a fantastic experience at Sweetwater. The steaks and martinis were delicious. While it was slightly more expensive than another steakhouse we visited, it was completely worth it. The service was great, we were able to make reservations for two, and everything went smoothly and on time. The atmosphere was pleasant, not too loud but still lively. We will definitely be returning to Sweetwater in the future.

We had a wonderful meal today after touring Manassas battlefields. Johnny our server took lots of time with us, made us feel extra special and we'll taken care of. It was one of the best service experiences I have had in all my travels. Great beer selection, and fabulous food. Good choice for the area. Highlight of our trip!

First time visiting Sweetwater, but it won’t be my last (and I live in NY)! Food was fantastic and our server Johnny was the perfect blend of always there when we needed something, whether it be another cocktail or to answer a question about the menu, all without being overbearing or intrusive. Truly an excellent experience.

Absolutely gorgeous on the outside. Service was top-notch. Very loud inside. Server moved us to other side of building but could still hear rowdy customers. Food was only so-so. Not going back any time soon. For the prices charged,I think the food should be way better
