Hard to rate but I can tell you my own experience. Went on a weekend. Place was extremely busy. Crowd looked to be on the younger side. I asked how long it would be and was told about 35 minutes. Against my better judgment, I decided to wait. The hostess took my cell phone number. After waiting about 30 minutes, I inquired how much longer and was told that it would be awhile . At that point, I decided to leave and went elsewhere. I received a call about 2 hours later! I honestly don 't know how the food is. I suspect that most weren 't there for the food necessarily but more so just because it 's a popular place which is clearly is. But I just don 't have it in me to wait that amount of time...
The wait is definitely the most frustrating aspect. However, if you arrive right when it opens or can manage to get through the wait, it's absolutely worth it! I always bring my friends along because it's incredibly affordable, the food is fantastic, and the atmosphere is great! I just wish they had another location or a bigger space to help reduce the wait times. That's the only thing stopping me from going there all the time.
It's a great spot for tacos and hanging with your friends. Be sure to adjust for about 2hrs of being here depending on time of day. Tacos are all made to order at this restaurant. So depending on how busy things are and how large of an order is in, have some drinks and relax. There are two special days to come in for the hidden tacos which are Mondays and Thursdays as an FYI.
I tried two tacos from their food truck, and the only good thing I can say is that they didn’t make me sick. Unfortunately, they were otherwise quite disappointing. I could easily make a better taco myself, and I’m confident about that. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
My friend and I had a great time here. The margaritas were so good and the waitress was super friendly and told us about the daily specials going on. The tacos were very filling and good. I will be back again.
First time at swell taco omg we will definitely be back. The food was so good drinks were delicious and on point. Drew our waiter was attentive and gave us great recommendations. Until next time.
Cheap food (which is rare to find in Long Island), the ambiance is comfy and the food it’s ok. The quesadillas were very tasty! They also have a great selection of beer
