My wife and I frequent this restaurant regularly and are generally pleased with the food and service. My mother accompanied us on this visit and we were looking forward to seeing the newly renovated restaurant and trying the new crispy chicken. The renovations did not disappoint - nice and bright with the updated lighting and new windows overlooking the street. The chicken, however, was disappointing. The crispy coating was dark in colour and looked overcooked but did not taste burned. The crispy coating added crunch to the chicken but very little flavor. My wife and I both found it quite bland. Deja accueil impersonnel , la serveur une dame âgée perds vite patience car nous avons du mal à choisir ! Nous prenons du poulet qui est gras , du ribs qui est également et qui a un goût et des croquettes de fromage sans goût de fromage ! De plus la responsable est à côté de nous en train de compter la caisse avec ses employés alors qu il n'est que 21h et de plus elle n aura aucun regard ni sourire envers nous juste concentrer sur le peu de billet sur sa table ! Bref il y a d autre établissement à faire avant de faire ce genre de "restAurant" qui se dit spécialiste en rôtisserie ! Honteux ....
One of the reasons to go to Swiss Chalet is that you get what you expect. Good chicken, reasonable portions, good service, and so on. Not this one. Service is good, though our waiter wondered if her boss was bothering us when he came over to clear the table (no, he wasn't but the fact the question was asked tells you something). Portions are always smaller than the other Chalets we visit. Also always seems to be a bit chaotic, though it is always busy. So no reason not to go, just don't expect what you usually expect from this chain.
Avons choisi ce restaurant pour le souper lors du retour.Situe a peu de distance de la route 401,donc tres accesible.J,ai choisi un quart de poulet poitrine avec crevettes,et ce accompagne de patates piles,sauce et finalement un bon dessert.Dans l,ensemble tout etait bon a part de la sauce dont je n,aimait pas vraiment le gout.
Food was excellent and our server was really nice! Waited a little longer than usual but the place was literally packed. Food came fresh so we were happy! Great prices, restaurant was clean, service was great and so was the great food! No complaints! Have returned a few times since our initial visit in the summer :)
We enjoy the Swiss Chalet chicken dinners. This place is very popular with seniors because they offer good food & great value. Certain times they offer specials or use your CAA card for everyday discounts.The service is usually very quick and even when they are full you still get served within a reasonable time.
i am not crazy about chicken but a group of us went here and they let me order a whole order of the spring rolls as my dinner..............which was very tasty, along with a nice glass of white wine. the usual chicken, starch. coleslaw dinner....with no vegetables to speak of. not my favourite place.
This is a fantastic place to enjoy delicious chicken and flavorful fries! The service at the restaurant was exceptional, and our food arrived promptly. The only downside was that the lights in the dining room were too bright, slightly affecting the overall ambiance.
The food itself was good but the order taker did not listen to my request for condidments. With staying in a motel I was unable to get more of what I was actually needing. I suggest they spend more time listening than talking. Overall the food was really good.
