went here for a wake. we had an open bar and a buffet. the food was lovely, being a chef myself i was very impressed with the buffet spread not a bad word to say in regards of the food! the only downfall is i was rather disappointed when i went to the bar to get a drink and was told that by the server ‘i’m done now, i’m just waiting for you all to leave’. no last orders was called. i found this comment rather rude if i’m honest. other than that everything was lovely. just a shame to receive that comment when i went to order a drink.
A little gem of a restaurant in Hornsea. Cosy, welcoming, and always nicely busy while still feeling intimate. Lovely food and drink with a proper traditional British pub feel. Always a joy to pop here.
