Even the salad was disappointing—it should have been served cold, but it wasn't. The dish with beets and other ingredients was simply unappetizing. The onion rings were overloaded with breading, too. If anyone plans a gathering at SYL's, count me out. It’s clear they don’t invest their profits into updating the decor or maintaining the place. To top it off, the music was blaring, presumably for those who can't hear well. It made conversation impossible unless you yelled over the piano player. The pork chops, chicken, and ribs were fantastic. The restaurant has a charming old-fashioned atmosphere. However, the prices for steaks and seafood are quite steep. The service staff was excellent, and I really appreciated the complimentary relish tray and fresh bread. I’ll definitely be coming back!
Our waitress Kim was outstanding on Thanksgiving, providing excellent service that made our experience truly memorable. The entire staff, including the kitchen team, did an amazing job. Thank you for offering such a wonderful experience. My plate was overflowing with deliciousness!
Good visit. Service was pleasant. I ordered the scallops and French onion soup. Hubby ordered the rib eye and linguine. I also enjoyed a hot cup of The Nutty Irishman (boozy coffee drink, but not really boozy). That was good too. Also had strawberry sauceon our slice of cheesecake.
