The bread and cakes at this restaurant are of good quality and reasonably priced. My only concern is that the new owners maintain these standards. It would be beneficial for them to replace some of the rude and disengaged staff members who have been there for too long, as it affects both the staff's and customers' experience.
Best iced buns!! I always stock up on their delicious fresh bread when i’m up visiting family in this area. It’s a family run bakery so I like supporting this place over getting my bread (and bakery treats) from chain supermarkets! It’s worth the extra stop.
Love this bakery’s bread and pastry’s. All a good prices so it makes it affordable to have a breakfast treat of a hot cob with bacon sausage or whatever combination. The granary loaf is so delicious I go every week from Birstall to syston to get one.

Why go to a chain food outlet, when you have the best locally. Excellent cobs and cake and if your nice to them you will even get a smile.
Great food but service by young girl was awful, no manners at all. Could easily put new customers off, luckily I've been plenty of times.
Disappointing cakes taste synthetic with cheap tasting chocolate! Soft shortbread biscuits, wouldn't buy cakes from here again.
