Pricey compared to traditional shave ice, but portions are big and you can share . Real fruit with just the right amount of sweetness. I couldn't stop eating eventhough it was 9:30 at night and I had just had a full meal. I prefer this to ice cream not only because I'm lactose intolerant but because it's lighter, healthier, and tastes better to me! Monster ice is finely shaved and melts in your mouth. Sooo good l! This is a must if you are visiting Honolulu !!! Walked around and found this gem. Very near the beach and efficient staff. The kind men working that night were quick and friendly . We ordered the mango flavored ice and 1 water. To our surprise we got two waters ! We were very grateful for the second water as it had been a long day of walking and swimming for us. The MANGO flavored ice is Delicious, Refreshing and flavorful!! It also comes with 1 scoop of mango sorbet, coconut jelly and fresh mango pieces !!!!! Delicious shaved ice. Made with only fruit and natural flavors. They use a large cylindrical disk of frozen juice and shave it super thin. The small is enough to share with two people. It comes with a scoop of mango sorbet and an Italian pudding. Very conveniently located in Waikiki, but the service was mediocre. No smiles or added conversation, and we were the only two in line. Plenty of seating inside to get out of the heat, and now they have popsicles which are perfect to-go.

Ice monster was a delicious experience. Very unique take on shaved ice. We got the strawberry and matcha. The toppings that come with both are premium and well suited for the flavors. The service was quick once you ordered. The staff was very friendly. This place is very loud so be prepared for that. The decor is very trendy and fun. I highly recommend Ice Monster as a good dessert option. I'd prob take some friends to share as the sizes are huge.
