We came here by chance because a bus took us to Neutral Bay Wharf from where we could get a ferry back to Circular Quay. The cafe at the wharf itself is very noisy and the seats could be better so we walked the short way up the hill to Ta Ta.Here we found quiet and comfort and settled down for some Thai which duly arrived only, instead of both our meals coming at the same time, Lorraine was nearly finished when mine finally appeared. Having said that they were both tasty without being anything special and we both felt the premises were nice and clean. It's probably about a 3 1/2 star but I'm a hard marker. A block away from the ferry stop on the lower north shore resides this gem of a restaurant. A true local favourite, the place is popular in the early evening with local families and their school aged children. Later the atmosphere mellows and it evolves into a perfect spot for a romantic meal with that special someone. The staff are friendly and efficient - always available - but never obtrusive. Highly recommended!
The night before an orthopedic operation at Royal North Shore we went to this great restaurant just down the road from the hotel. It was the second time we have done this and both times were excellent. You need to get there very early- there is a family rush from locals- or a bit later after 7.30 or 8 pm. Booking is advised. It is good to great Thai food and definitely recommended.
I don't like to write negative reviews but after probably one of the worst i.e. tasteless so-called red curries ever I doubt I'll be returning to this popular Neutral Bay Thai restaurant. There was absolutely no spice whatsoever in the curry. Bland bland bland. Vegetables good though but not good enough to get me back. A waste of money.

Was staying in the area for a night for a wedding at Luna Park. Had breakfast there twice and would definitely recommend. Prices and food are great not like the cafe down closer to the water which is very overpriced! Lovely customer service as well. Have not tried their dinner but can recommend breakfast
The value is good. Have been eating here for years. New owners have changed a few things but still pretty good for the price. Chilli Basil Prawn not as good as it used to be. Not many prawns anymore and flavour is different. Cashew nut noodles are good. Crab claws are yummy
Called in for a late brekky and waited 30 minutes for our food. Our eggs benedict arrived looking good, but topped with mayonnaise - ick! Our other order of poached eggs on toast arrived with a side of bacon, another 15 mins before the eggs arrived.
We happily got lost in North Sydney and ran into this place. Ordered pad se ew pork, duck salad, larb gai and the coconut rice with mango. Could not fault it. Definitely will go back even though it's an hours drive from home.

Good as a local or takeaway. BYO and friendly authentic service. Pretty good range of traditional dishes and easy to get to from the ferry.
Real Thai food. Good portion size and authentic Thai. Economically priced. Tables outside or indoors. Takeaway is available.
