In a very busy and hot Roses, As a party of four, we decided to search the back streets for a restaurant in the shade. Taberna del Mar was busy but had a table free. Not wanting fish or paella, I opted for goats cheese salad to start and chicken escalope for main. The goats cheese salad was delicious and couldn’t be faulted however when I had eaten a quarter of my escalope to my horror I discovered it was raw. I told the waiter who told me it was very good quality chicken and he would fry it again for me. I told him even if it was good quality you can’t eat RAW chicken and I did not want anything else. He agreed to take the cost of the meal off the final bill. All in all a terrible lunchtime...
Very disappointing meal at this restaurant. The waiter told us that the quality of food was very high so we decided to give it a go. The starters were fine but having waited one hour from ordering for our mains to arrive, they were very poor and cold. I think the waiter was more interested in tuning Sky TV in for the World Cup football! Would definitely not got back.
We just had lunch at the sea tavern and the truth is that for the price it is a highly recommended place. for less than 60 euros you can eat good fish. the place is very cozy and the good location, but I recommend that if you do not know ampuriabrava you take a gps to get there.
muy buen tratamiento por parte de los camareros, muy buena y atenta cantidad de comida y bastante buena, a pesar de ser pescado y marisco congelado, muy malo ya que es en una ciudad costera la sangría de cabra lo puso en una taza de bola el regalo. espectacular muy recomendable

because the sea tavern on the street joan badosa 16, is no more recommended than the rest of rose restaurants focused on tourism. normal seafood at a high price not if there will be another sea tavern, but I will not return to it. The picture doesn't match the address.
We've had some paella. I've seen it weird with the dog that ate the most, but this doesn't count as long as it eats everything. Nothing recommended, actually. the first could still happen, but the tragedy was already prey. Anyway, I'm gonna stop coming back.
a fantastic place to eat seafood in front of the beach at a suitable price. with the menu bites for about 18 € eat until you get tired and the service is very attentive and pleasant and the place very cozy. certainly a good option to eat well on vacation.
in front line of sea, very recommended place for its varied offer and quality. restaurant with charm traditional atmosphere and very good treatment of staff. for about 25 € pax eats incredibly well.
