Taberna Do Capelas

We had a fantastic unpretencious meal in this lovely place. Food is traditionally Portuguese based on local produce and simple in the making, yet delicious and full of flavour. The fries were just to die for, like those ones that you remember from the time that you were a kid. Don't be shy and ask your waiting staff for their suggestions; meat is always a typical fare here but salted cod dishes are equally as good. The service was very attentive and you can even see some trouts in the running stream that goes through the floor of the restaurant. If you happen to be in the area, give it a try. You will not regret it!
