Found this travelling from Seville to Malaga airport. It fitted the bill as it was 5 mins from the highway as we were passing at lunch time. It is a Spanish bar, looked deserted and my family were quite worried about eating there. Well, we had a wonderful lunch and everyone loved it. The menu is all in Spanish but take your online dictionary and be adventurous. Everything was wonderful and extremely good value at about 40 euros for 4 hungry people. We stopped here on our way from Portugal to Malaga, the place is close to the highway and it had good reviews so we decided to give it a try, and it was a great idea! The owner is very friendly and the food is excellent and tasty. Great quality for an affordable price (45€ for 5 people), if we ever end up in Alcalà again we'll definitely eat here once more!
I have to be honest, this restaurant is just a few metres from my house. The food is good, surprisingly so for a 'back-street ' bar. We had bacalao fritos, which were just gorgeous. Very friendly waiter/owner, and the whole bar has a family appeal to it. A some very good wines available, too.

Tapas riquísimas y a muy buen precio! Y el arte de Jesús y Juaqui detrás de la barra, no se puede aguantá!
Ambiente familiar, trato exquisito, buen tapeo y precios muy económicos. Un sitio para recomendar.
