Celebrating 21 years of marriage and this place was perfect! The service is excellent. Ask for Constance. She is entertaining and helpful with the menu choices. And the food is amazing! I had the cheeseburger (with bacon jam) and fries. My wife had the fried chicken and cream corn. Very southern and delicious. Topped off with chocolate puddin'. Highly recommend this eatery. Call ahead for reservations or better yet, walk up, sit on the porch and engage someone in good conversation. Jim W.
Best restaurant in Roswell. Consistently excellent food and service. Recommend sitting at the bar if you can’t get a table, I enjoy it as much (if not better) than sitting in dining room. The pork chop they have on the menu currently is the best thing I’ve had there (again everything I’ve had is excellent). My wife loves the she-crab soup and vegetable plate/sides. Go out on a weeknight and it’s easy to get in. Highly recommend!!!
This is listed as the top 2 best fried chicken near Atlanta, GA. I tried it myself and it is absolutely delicious and perfect in every which way there is! Tender, juicy, and light and crispy. Utter perfection! Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and history. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I'm definitely gonna bring my friends here next time I'm in the Atlanta area.
love this place. Service is great. Staff is the best (Holly Nagle! The brussels sprouts are to die for. love the environment, any season. Get the fried chicken. and the shrimp and grits. and the catfish. did I mention the brussels sprouts?
Had an amazing dinner on the back patio! The fried green tomato with pimento cheese was killer. The short rib could not have been better. So was the Peach Whiskey cocktail. Thank you!
Outstanding meal for our 37th wedding anniversary. Great high-end southern food and if you are a bourbon fan you will love the bar.
