Good food, good service... great local restaurant that has got better I have been going for years. The Sunday roasts are good and the vegetarian Wellington was an excellent option for my vegetarian guest. The only thing I would improve is the front door! I hope the management finds a way of stopping the wind blowing in when a customer opens the door. For that reason, I sit at the end furthest away when I can.
The food at this restaurant was great, but they did not have the wine we wanted. We were taken aback by the high prices, with a small bottle of beer costing nearly £5 and a gin and tonic priced at £12. We want to support local restaurants, but the expenses can add up quickly, especially when drinks are so costly. It is not surprising that there were only three occupied tables during our visit.
Love this place! Intimate feel but still with a good atmosphere. I believe it’s under new(ish) ownership but the food is still outstanding and the service is good. Prices have gone up a bit since my last visit but I think I that’s the same for pretty much every restaurant in the UK given the difficulties over the last couple of years.
The service was excellent. The only letdown was the lack of apple sauce to go with the roast pork belly and the unavailability of our first choice of wine. However, overall it was a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely return! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Booked in for a sunday dinner but it wasnt until we had ordered drinks and they came to take our food order they had sold out of all sunday dinners! Wish they had told us when we arrived as ee could have gone elsewhere
The food and service at this restaurant were excellent. I would definitely make a reservation again. The staff was very knowledgeable and attentive.
Great food and service. Brief but good wine choices. Pan fried lamb chops and broccoli with chili and almonds was great.

The restaurant serves excellent and innovative cuisine. The chicken curry was one of the best we have ever tasted.
