Mesa 46 is truly a hidden gem. We just returned from an amazing dinner there with another couple and were thoroughly impressed by the atmosphere, food, and service. My friend and I ordered the blackened grouper, which came with roasted potatoes and broccoli rabe. It was juicy and packed with flavor; I've never tasted such delicious roasted potatoes or broccoli rabe before. My husband chose the lobster ravioli, which he absolutely adored—it was another standout dish. I highly recommend this restaurant! Moe is an exceptional bartender, server, and host. Everything was prepared fresh! We enjoyed the caprese salad, Caesar salad, lobster ravioli, and chilled seafood salad. We couldn't resist finishing our meal with the carrot cake and some of the best coffee I've had at a restaurant in years. I came from Brooklyn to meet a long-time friend, and we stumbled upon Mesa 46 at the last minute, which turned out to be a fantastic choice. Whether you're planning a family gathering, ordering takeout, or just enjoying a cocktail with Moe at the bar, you’re in great hands! I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! There was ample parking, which was a big advantage. On Wednesdays, they offer live music, enhancing the enjoyable atmosphere. The drinks and empanadas were superb. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the owner was friendly and welcoming to all guests. The staff was also very nice. I definitely intend to come back and will provide more feedback, but I highly recommend this place!
I had a fantastic experience at Taboo! The owner was incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to make sure my friend and I were safe to drive after having a few drinks. It's clear that he genuinely cares about his customers' well-being. The music was wonderful, the drinks were tasty, the food was outstanding, and the service was excellent. The owner was present during our visit, and we spent $85 on our meal, which included three delicious and beautifully presented empanadas for $14. However, I felt it was a missed opportunity for the owner to at least say thank you and wish us a Happy Thanksgiving as we left. Overall, I’m giving this place 3 stars. The food at this restaurant is consistently excellent! Jose has a remarkable ability to blend Italian and Latin flavors in a fantastic way. You can always expect a wonderful meal when you come here. I’m quite concerned about the quality of the food served and may need to report this to the health department, as there appears to be a significant issue in the kitchen. I’m relieved that I didn’t eat much, especially since I’m nearly nine months pregnant and cannot risk food poisoning right now.
