I wasn't here in a while, but I came to lunch with the guys today and the food was incredible. The woman on the grill was extremely fast and my food looked like something from a magazine and to be honest that was one of the reasons why I didn't come here because my wife and I last visit it was a slop show for the evening shift. But today they redeemed. The evening chefs could learn something or two from the young lady in the morning shift. Well done Taco Especial you won my business back.
It's been a bit since we ate there. (Not going to lie, it used to be one of those take it or leave it kind of places for me. But we have revisited twice for takeout,and what a difference. Food was piping hot and fresh. The staff greeted me right away, and the young man behind the counter even offered to help carry my food out. It is so nice to see a very long standing restaurant doing well in my community. Keep it up !
I absolutely love this restaurant! My mother recently recommended it to me, and I have been impressed every time I've visited. The service and food are both outstanding! I'm a big fan of Mexican cuisine, and this place never disappoints. It may be a cozy little diner, but I definitely recommend stopping by to check it out!
This restaurant is my favorite! It has a truly authentic Mexican flavor that sets it apart. The service was excellent and very friendly. Have been coming here since the 80's. I now live about 50 minutes away and still come down. Tacos, Mexican sandwich, taco e bowl, chimichanga, enchiladas... you can't go wrong with any of these or really anything on the menu. Service is always great!!!!
This place offers some of the best Mexican food on this side of the border! I enjoyed everything! I had two beef and cheese enchiladas that were absolutely delicious! Everything we tried was made fresh on-site!
My favorite downriver Mexican food!.. the enchiladas are my favorite but I haven’t ever had anything I didn’t like. Been going there for over 20 years and counting
