I’m writing on behalf of myself and my mother regarding a very disappointing experience at Taco Palenque. First, when I went to order dinner, there was no one available at the register. It was only after the staff cleaning the dining area stopped what they were doing and called someone that I was finally helped. The order took quite a while, especially since I was the only customer waiting at the time. Later, about an hour after, I returned to pick up an order for my father through the drive-thru. Decided to get dinner here with my wife, as we love the food from Taco Palenque, but it was a decision we would come to regret. It took over an hour and a half before we got our food. We had to keep going up to workers and asking them about our food, butthe manager and the cooks at the back with him just kept taking to each other and kept making excuses about why the order wasn'tready, like they forgot to start work on our order, that they accidentally gave the order to someone else, and that the ran outof what we wanted so they had to go and get the ingredients. While waiting there, they started to just glare at us like we werea pest to them, and be rude and disrespectful, every time we ask...
Excellent value for both the amount and quality of food served. The sauce bar was fully stocked with an impressive variety of condiments to elevate the meal. The atmosphere was lively, filled with positive energy, and the service was professional. Now I understand why it’s called Taco Palenque!
The salsa bar offers a fantastic variety! Alongside the classic salsas, cilantro, and onions, they also provide radishes, pickled red onions, shredded cabbage, and cucumber. It’s all included with your meal at no extra charge, allowing you to create a full salad with everything available!
