This little hole in the wall makes a basic but tasty taco. We got shrimp, carnitas, carne asada and pollo. We loved the last three. The shrimp was a bit bland until we gussed it up. which brings us to the fact that the tacos are basically just meat andtortilla. They have a salsa bar on the side that has chopped onions, cilantro, pickled vegetables and three different salsas.Both red salsas are spicy and yummy. Didn't try the green. Pickled vegetables were the bomb. Tortillas were flour. We'd go backfor more.
I had one of the best fish burritos I've ever tried here. The portion was generous, and everything tasted fresh. I particularly loved the type of cheese they use. However, I think adding a bit more protein would elevate it to a 5-star dish. The restaurant is small with only a few tables, yet it has a clean restroom and an excellent salsa bar. Just a heads up, the parking lot is quite small, so it might be a bit of a challenge for new drivers. Overall, I highly recommend this place!
Although the dining area is small, the food here is excellent! They specialize in tacos, allowing you to choose your own protein and customize your taco with a variety of toppings from their counter. You can add everything from cilantro to pickled carrots and onions, as well as salsa and radishes. It's a delightful experience every time. Just be aware that parking can be a challenge, so come prepared. Food rating: 4/5.
This place is amazing! You can watch the ladies in the window making fresh tortillas! The food is made fresh to order, so it may take a few, but so worth it! While you wait, you can get all your favorite condiments; fresh salsa, chopped onions, chopped cilantro, pico de gallo, pickled veggies, they even have pinto beans in a Crock-Pot! This restaurant offers delicious Mexican cuisine at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere feels authentic, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the beef hard shell taco plate. While it's not necessarily a fancy place for a date, the food is truly excellent. This has become my new favorite Mexican spot in Culver City/Playa Vista.
Sensational shrimp tacos and really friendly team at this taco place. They make their own tortilla as you order, and also have a bit salsa and toppings bar to choose your own toppings and heat level. They were kind enough to let me try their mole as wellwhich was outstanding. The best part is how jovial and friendly the team is here. Amazing service!
Hole in the wall place with great flavor! Got so many options, I usually go with flautas, always comes with rice and beans, side of chips and toppings with salsas! And very fairly priced so I never feel guilty getting their food. Best kept secret around here!Food: 5/5
