This is a lovely little restaurant that offers excellent service in an intimate setting. You can find the best Arroz con Pollo in all of Thurston County here. It's not part of a chain, which makes the food feel more like authentic home cooking. I've tried the Arroz con Pollo at many chain Mexican restaurants, and their dishes often tasted like a watery rice soup with rubbery chicken. This place, however, really stands out.
I absolutely love this place! Located near the Mexico border, we were treated to authentic Mexican dishes. Since moving to Washington, I've been disappointed by the lack of genuine Mexican cuisine, but Taco Gabby's comes very close—if not perfectly replicates—so many of those flavors. The staff knows my husband by name since we eat there so often. I highly recommend it, and I'm quite picky when it comes to food!
Another highlight is that my husband enjoys their fried fish, which is simply amazing. Plus, I adore the bottled Coke they serve—there's just something about it that tastes better! We've been coming here for five years and plan to continue our visits. We love Tacos Gabby. My only complaint is that they don’t offer Tripas, which is my favorite for tacos. Hopefully, I’ll spot it on the menu next time we’re here!
