The menu is straight-forward and small. Items such as Vampiros, Papas Locas, and of course, tacos are offered. You don't have a choice when it comes to meat though, and that's a good thing. Everything is made with carne asada, and it's the only option for a good reason. It's cooked extremely well, with the perfect char and juiciness, which makes every bite satisfying. If you want some of the best asada tacos in the 562 area then you must come here! These tacos Sinaloa style are top tier! They use sirloin meat and it's very tender and juicy. The staff is working very hard and fast to get your orders out. Their salsa is house made and gives the tacos added flavor. They use fresh ingredients such as cabbage and purple onion. If you can't wait in line because they are busy then call ahead for your order. If you haven't been here then do yourself a favor and go this week! If you're searching for the next best taco truck, TACOS LA CARRETA absolutely takes the cake! I got to try out their Tacos Vampiros, Papa Loca, Asada Tacos more. The flavors and tenderness of their asada was super bomb! My recommendation dish has to be their tacos vampiros, the crunch and queso is the best! This taco truck serves great quality meat and ingredients because you can taste the difference. It's honestly addicting so beware;
I've been looking for tacos that taste like Sinaloa (Culiacan specifically) once I went to Culiacan somebody recommended this spot, and they taste so similar than Tacos Don Fruto from Sinaloa. The salsas are the key of this same flavor. We ordered vampiros, quesadillas, chorreadas and cebada. We will come back every time we crave for tacos. This place offers some of the best tacos I've ever had, along with exceptional customer service. The owner is a genuinely kind man who even helped us out when we discovered we were a dollar short after finding out it was cash only. Honestly, these tacos surpass even those from the top vendors in San Diego and Baja California. Thank you for everything you’re doing for the community!
I ordered a quesadilla and I’m not sure what kind of cheese they used, as the tortillas didn’t stick to it at all. The tacos were bland and lacking in flavor. The salsas were not spicy and could have used a bit more salt. I decided to stop in because it seemed popular, but unfortunately, the tacos were terrible. If this is what Sinaloa cuisine is like, I’m not impressed.

I've been there twice, and both times the tacos were served cold, and the sauce was too watery. I wouldn't recommend it.
