Great taco stand!They are open pretty late- even later than what I think it says on Google. I came on Saturday 5/12 and asked what time do they close and the lady said 1am.The Al pastor is the popular meat here but they also have several others including carne and 3 other types.If you get Al pastor, they literally slice off the meat from the trompa onto your taco and top it off with a slice of pineapple! Flavor- I wish the meat was juicier tbh but it def hits the spot for late night munchies. $2 per taco.Located right off of Beverly and Atlantic in front of what used to be the Pep Boys so parking is a breeze in the parking lot. First timers to this taco stand in East LA and let us just say that outside of TJ, these have been our favorite tacos so far! That's a HUGE statement to make considering the hundreds of tacos we've eaten! The asada has that same smoky flavor from over the border and they slice the pastor right off the trompo for you... sooo good. Watch out for the guac salsa. IT'S SPICY but crazy tasty!
I went to the restaurant on a Thursday at 7:30pm and it wasn't busy, which was a relief. I have passed by many times before and always saw long lines. It was my first time trying the food and the Tacos were excellent! The Al Pastor taco even had a pineapple chunk in it. They accept Zelle as a form of payment. I will definitely be coming back again!
This is the best pastor burrito I have ever had. It is also very large! The pastor meat inside is very good. However, the woman and children did not really enjoy the Asada tacos.
The Buche and Al Pastor at this restaurant were delicious. I will definitely be returning. The restaurant appeared to be popular and was still busy on a Monday night at 11:30 pm.
We might have visited on a bad day because the tacos were not good and had a foul smell, making them inedible.
