Update:05/26/23 Food has gone downhill. DO NOT ORDER MENUDO. What I got was more like a cowfoot soup w/no tripe, no hominy or standard toppings. This was NOTHING like the soup I used to order from this establishment. Called to express that there must be a mixup lady was absolutely rude. She refused to listen I made sure to clearly communicate in Spanish to explain the issue. PS: We were also overcharged menu price. 1st review: 5 STARS Great Authentic Tacos! Cash only open late hrs!
I've never dined in at the restaurant, but after trying their tacos twice, I can say they are absolutely amazing. I don't want to exaggerate, but in my opinion, they're spot on—truly delicious. I had the al pastor and beef options, and I've got to say they are probably the best tacos I've ever had. While the atmosphere of the place could use some work, possibly due to its location, I still consider it a hidden gem for tacos.
When I arrived, the place was empty, which made me think, "Oh no, this might have been a mistake." However, the waiter asked me to wait for 10 minutes. I ended up ordering the brisket tacos for $5.12, and they were absolutely delicious! This place should definitely have a line out the door.
Aki's food is absolutely fantastic, and I highly recommend it! Personally, I really enjoy Hay's cuisine as well, and it's quite affordable. The only drawback is that it takes a bit of time for the food to be served, but everything else is a perfect 10/10. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Very tasty but teensy tacos. Price is right tho. No cilantro and onions but radishes and cucumbers. Liked it well enuf but not blown away. Would go there again next time we're in the area.
Don’t recommend. Owner thinks she owns the parking lot and is super rude. I would go somewhere else. Never coming back to This place, waste of money
