Came for an evening meal just managed to get into the car park even though the pub was not very full. The building is well decorated and the tables comfortable. I had to wait quite a long time to be served even though there...were a number of staff wandering around not doing much and ordered 2 local hand pulled beers plus a ‘special’ meal pork loin plus vegetables and salad. When the meal came the quality and quantity were absolutely great however I didn’t find the beers good tasting which just be me, but I am normally not liking beer! Be prepared for ordering to take some time.
very good prompt, polite and efficient service. excellent eating to the table quite quickly brought. the beer and the Ale Pie was delicious. pleasant environment. the restaurant is spacious, clean, well furnished and plenty of space for eating a lot. costly, 3 adult for...42 enjoy main course and drinks only very good price, especially as the food and service was so good. What can they ask for more?
Yesterday evening as a family. we had a very big table and had made a preorder. the food was served hot and timely and very tasty! I enjoyed my meal and will go back 100. the only critique if you can understand it, that is my son said that his veg was 'cooked', but I like my veg crisp! but surely if they wanted it to be cooked more, the personal would burst. fab fab
